Positive: The apartment is quite dirty. Despite the size of it it’s organized so badly you don’t have enough space. No dining table that you can eat normally. There crowds gathering in some of the bars in the back yard of the apartment building so you can’t sleep till they are gone (about 2-3 AM every night).

Amazing location, nice kitchenette, comfortable Positive: I was afraid the room might feel too small, but actually it was a pretty good size as a single person (or even 2 people would probably be fine). I also really liked the kitchen area (electric burners, sink, drain rack, etc); had plenty of utensils/dishes for my needs, and also some leftover oil/spices and pantry-type items from other guests. The bathroom was nice as well. Apart from hearing some occasional noise from hallway (e.g. elevator usage), I didn't hear any other noise from other residents, which was nice (seemed to be concrete walls). The residents I did bump into while staying there were friendly and helpful, as well. It was nice to have the windows open at night, and there was generally a good ambiance outside in the courtyard area. I didn't really need anything from the host beyond basic check-in/check-out, and didn't meet anyone in person, but they were responsive when I did contact them. Negative: There was what I believe a sewage smell that seemed to come from the bathroom, sometimes more than others (maybe the shower drain -- not sure if from a cracked pipe, improperly installed P-trap, etc). I will say, this was the one main downside to my stay. I do think it should get remedied, and would be a huge improvement. I did not bring it up to the host during my stay. In general, some aspects of the apartment are older or not completely functional (e.g. hood vent for kitchen, locking mechanism on windows I wasn't able to fully turn). However, it didn't really detract from my stay.

Basic needs met but not up to par with the ratings at all. Positive: Nice bathroom and comfortable sleep. Negative: Broken, stained and old furniture. Missing elevator fob. Mix bits and pieces of dishes, no wine glasses. Just needs an overall update. Owner never brought fob. Just disappointing.
